I’m thrilled to announce Pride and Preston Lin has been selected as a Gold Standard Selection of the Junior Library Guild! Though my protagonists are in their early 20s, the JLG has a “Mature Young Adults” category, which makes it sound racy. Haha. Here’s hoping those 11th and 12th graders appreciate a “slow burn” romance!
Do you turn to your local library for good reads? My own King County Library System is an excellent one and frequently purchases books I suggest, but mentioning something like a JLG selection might tip the balance in your neck of the woods. Lissie Cheng, as a fictional employee of the San Jose State University Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library, would fully approve.
