Christina Dudley is a writer, speaker, and wannabe
dramatist/actress, with a string
of almost-spectacular-achievements-that-fell-short to her credit,
including dropping out of the Stanford PhD program in English Literature after
two years and appearing on Jeopardy!
in 2008, only to come in 3rd (see Links).
Besides spending all her time writing, to the neglect of her husband, children, and housekeeping, Christina joins Susan Burbank in co-teaching Women at the Well, a weekly Bible study at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue (FPCB) with a service focus on Eastside Academy. She has also spoken at various women's events, church retreats, and in adult education settings at FPCB and Menlo Park Presbyterian Church. Outside of church she writes for and edits Bellevue Farmers Market's Market News.
If you're under the age of ten, you might know Christina better as Kit, Pow, or Scooter, roles she's undertaken as FPCB Sunday School drama queen, or you may have caught some of the sketches she wrote and performed in for Vacation Bible School.
Christina
graduated with an A. B. in English from University of California at Berkeley
and a Master’s Degree from Stanford University. It was at Stanford that she met
her husband Scott and also picked up that handy M.R.S. degree. The Dudleys and
their three children live in Bellevue, Washington.
